The Radius P1225·LS portable radio is a
reliable and simple-to-operate UHF LTR® trunked radio. Why
UHF trunking? With the limited spectrum in 800 and 900 MHz available
today, UHF trunking is quickly becoming the new trend. Available
in both standard and keypad models, the P1225·LS offers
features that are easily customized to meet your changing needs.
What’s more, the Radius P1225·LS portable
radio utilizes Motorola’s exclusive X-PandTM technology.
With X-Pand, the audio quality of 12.5 kHz radios can actually
outperform what you could expect from 25 kHz radios. X-Pand technology
actually compresses your voice at transmission. At the receiving
end, it expands it while simultaneously reducing extraneous noise.
